"A married friend of our gave us some advice when we got engaged - the most important decision is choosing your wedding photographer and you should hire a wedding coordinator. So once we booked the wedding venue, we then chose Ambition Photography.
Trust me, I know that wedding costs add up, but the photos are the only things that you have after the wedding to remember this day you spent so much money on. The day goes by sooo fast and you dodn’t even get to see, let alone remember, everything.
When we met our photographer, Candice Betty, we were pleased to find that she is extremely responsive and professional and genuinely cares about getting to know her clients.
She made us feel totally at ease and gave us really helpful tips on posing and looking natural. Candice and her assistant made it seem like we were just hanging out together so we actually had a whole lot of fun.
I definitely think that you should have an engagement shoot to get comfortable with your photographer. This way, you know you are in good hands for the wedding, and you’ll act more natural and spontaneous in front of the camera.
Candice was good at taking control of large groups at the wedding and making things more lively when needed. Instead of boring family portraits with everyone staring at the camera awkwardly, she gets people laughing, hugging, and having fun.
She captured the emotions during the time I was getting-ready, and the special moments during our first look before the ceremony (so glad we took her advice on this). She was good at communicating the tone and feeling of our ceremony and reception, along with capturing the details.
We met with her 2 weeks later to review our wedding photos and pick our favorites for the album. This is very quick service for a wedding photographer. We knew a couple that had to wait 6 months before seeing their photos because the photographer was so slow. She designed the album layouts for us, and we made very few changes to it.
For these reasons, we are glad that we went with Ambition Photography – the price was very affordable for the quality and service level that we received. We would definitely recommend Ambition Photography to couples looking for a wedding photographer!"
I really enjoy photographing weddings and helping to preserve this important day for couples. I also enjoy scuba diving, travelling to see new cultures, healthy cooking, skin care and science, particularly biology.
