Water Canyon Hike & Traditional Alpenhorn & Yodeling Festival in Austria

New travel photography video: Breitachklamm Water Canyon & Alpenhorn Festival in Austria.

One of my first hikes in Europe, Breitachklamm Water Canyon is a breathtaking canyon on the border of Austria and Germany. The rocks are carved from years of water wearing into their edges.

Travel photography is a combination of two of the things I love most in life, travelling and photography. The Alpenhorn Festival draws visitors from all over Germany, especially the older crowd that likes traditional music. Alpenhorn players can make only 4 notes with their vast instruments, which take much training of the lungs to learn how to play. In this video, we hear traditional yodeling, a fast paced singing, which also takes a lot of training.

On our way back from Austria, we visited a castle called Schloss Hohenschwangau, which is where King Ludwig II of Bavaria lived while he was having the famous castle Neuschwanstein, built. Each castle is visible from the other, so that King Ludwig could oversee the progress of castle Neuschwanstein's construction.
